Experience - Toolbox Remix

After releasing A Moon Colony Covered in Space Dust in 2024, I received overwhelmingly positive feedback. I’m incredibly proud of this piece of work. The album opens with “Limits of Imagination / Experience,” setting the mood for what’s to come. It’s a complex and experimental journey that explores genres that might not have been heard together before.

One person who has always given me immense confidence in my music is Toolbox, a Karlsruhe-based producer I’ve known for several years. We’ve collaborated on smaller projects for months, and we’re still in touch even after I moved away from Karlsruhe. Chris was captivated by both “Experience” and “A Moon Colony” on MCciSD. He was drawn to the haunting atmosphere and the deep emotions conveyed by the song. That’s how he ended up working on a downtempo remix for “Experience.” It turned out to be just as soulful as the original, with a bit more drive. He created a meditative piece of music that I, despite its irregularities, would still frame as House at its core.
